Required Qualifications

• To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, application design, and technical leadership within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting applications using Java.
• Advanced SQL expertise, including database design, query optimization, performance tuning, and stored procedure development.
• Strong Unix/Linux scripting experience supporting automation, batch processing, and operational workflows.
• Experience delivering and supporting high-volume, business-critical enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of Asset Management, Capital Markets, Investment Operations, or Financial Services domains.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across applications, databases, and integrations.
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and leading technical delivery efforts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Asset Management, Investment Management, Custody Operations, or Capital Markets organizations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application development methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, production support, and performance management tools.
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed enterprise applications in regulated environments.

Salary and Other Compensation

• The annual salary for this position is between $ 65,447 to $ 117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
