Role Overview
Design and build low-latency, event-driven cross-asset trading systems.
Integrate market data, pricing libraries, execution venues, and risk-aware trade processing.
Work in a front-office technology environment with traders, quants, and platform teams.
Experience and Knowledge
- 7–12 years of experience in capital markets technology.
- At least 5 years of experience developing electronic trading platforms.
- Proven delivery of latency-sensitive trading solutions.
- Strong understanding of connectivity protocols, APIs, and low-latency trading systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in high-pressure front-office environments with an ownership focus on performance and stability.
Core Technical Skills
- Strong C# and Python programming expertise.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and event-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of low-latency system design and optimization.
- Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka, Solace, or JMS.
- Experience with REST or WebSocket APIs for real-time streaming.
- Strong Linux or Unix development environment experience.
