About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support the Design Director in the management and coordination of hospitality projects from concept design to construction completion
- Review architectural drawings, technical packages, and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements, brand standards, and technical quality
- Coordinate architectural design with MEP, structural, interior design, and specialist consultants
- Participate in design review workshops, technical coordination meetings, and consultant discussions
- Review materials, finishes, mock ups, and technical submittals
- Monitor design quality during construction and conduct site inspections/snagging reviews
- Ensure coordination between design intent and site execution
- Identify design clashes, technical inconsistencies, and constructability issues
- Support in the preparation of reports, comments sheets, and technical review documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, operators, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Architecture
- Approximately 8–15 years of experience in architecture/design management roles
- Proven experience on luxury hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, branded residences, high end mixed use developments)
- Strong background within reputable architectural consultancy or design firms
- Good technical understanding of architectural detailing, MEP coordination, FLS systems, building codes, materials, and construction methodologies
- Experience reviewing drawings from concept, schematic, detailed design, IFC, and shop drawing stages
- Strong site awareness, including snagging and quality inspections
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- GCC experience is preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam/PDF review tools, and Microsoft Office
