- Lead and manage the design process for city assets projects, ensuring integration across all disciplines
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to deliver design solutions that meet project goals
- Ensure design compliance with regulatory codes, sustainability goals, and best industry practices
- Review and approve design deliverables, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources related to design activities
- Drive innovation and value engineering initiatives to optimize design quality and cost effectiveness
- Mentor and develop design teams to foster collaboration and high performance
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and materials relevant to city asset design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in design management, preferably with large scale city or urban development projects
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and complex project portfolios
- Strong knowledge of design standards, building codes, and sustainable design principles
- Experience coordinating designs in infrastructure, commercial, residential, or cultural assets is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficiency with design software and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms)
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are an advantage
