Job Description
Parsons is seeking a Senior Design Engineer Water to join its team.
The role serves as the main point of contact within the design team for technical issues related to water and irrigation networks.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan primary and secondary pressurized networks.
- Act as the main point of contact within the design team for technical issues related to water and irrigation networks.
- Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
- Compute water demands and requirements.
- Develop efficient and cost-effective pressurized network designs that meet all requirements.
- Prepare site plans, design reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Review deliverables, including design reports, design submissions, and specifications.
Required Skills
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university or institute is required.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure mega-project design, specifically irrigation network design, is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Experience advising clients on systems, materials, products, and sustainability approaches for irrigation systems is required.
