Job Summary
Join a multinational partner as a Database Administrator responsible for database performance, availability, reliability, and security.
Work with IT professionals, developers, and stakeholders to support smooth database operations and mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor database performance, reliability, and availability.
- Develop and implement security measures to protect databases from unauthorized access or data loss.
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems and schemas.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Plan and execute database backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, data corruption, connectivity problems, and other database issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server database management systems.
- Experience with database administration tools and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with database security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, are a plus.
