About the Role
DICETEK LLC seeks a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure Oracle Database environments. The role involves database operations, high availability, patch management, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support Oracle database (19c/26ai) environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability using RAC
- Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Implement database security best practices including TDE and access controls
- Drive database hardening activities in line with organizational standards
- Coordinate and execute patching activities across database environments
- Collaborate with Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports
- Participate in 24x7 on call rotation for critical incidents and escalations
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Strong expertise in Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience with RAC and DR solutions
- Knowledge of database security, compliance, and hardening practices
- Experience in enterprise patch management tools
- Familiarity with Qualys or similar vulnerability management platforms
- Good communication and coordination skills

Job Purpose
- To manage, maintain, and secure Oracle Database environments across the organization. The role is responsible for database operations, high availability, patch management, compliance, and remediation of vulnerabilities in coordination with internal teams such as Infrastructure and Vulnerability Mana
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and support Oracle database (19c/26ai) environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability using RAC
- Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Implement database security best practices including TDE and access controls
- Drive database hardening activities in line with organizational standards
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security frameworks
- Coordinate and execute patching activities across database environments
- Maintain and document the patch execution tracker
- Collaborate with Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports
- Track, prioritize, and close security vulnerabilities within defined timelines
- Actively participate in 24x7 on call rotation, providing support for critical incidents and escalations
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Strong expertise in Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience with RAC and DR solutions
- Knowledge of database security, compliance, and hardening practices
- Experience in enterprise patch management tools
- Familiarity with Qualys or similar vulnerability management platforms
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large enterprise or banking environments
- Exposure to regulatory and audit frameworks
- Knowledge of monitoring, backup, and automation tools
