About the Role
DICETEK LLC seeks a Senior Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure Microsoft SQL Server environments. The role requires 4-7 years of MSSQL DBA experience, expertise in AlwaysOn, clustering, and vulnerability management using Qualys.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server (2017/2019/2022/2025) environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability using AlwaysOn Availability Groups and clustering
- Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Implement database security best practices including TDE and access controls
- Coordinate and execute patching activities across database environments using Ivanti, SCCM, or equivalent
- Collaborate with Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports
- Participate in 24x7 on call rotation and provide support for critical incidents
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in MSSQL Database Administration
- Strong expertise in SQL Server architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience with AlwaysOn, clustering, and HA/DR solutions
- Knowledge of database security, compliance, and hardening practices
- Experience in enterprise patch management tools (Ivanti, SCCM, etc.)
- Familiarity with Qualys or similar vulnerability management platforms
- Strong scripting skills (T SQL; PowerShell preferred)

Job Purpose

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Coordinate and execute patching activities across database environments

Required Qualifications & Skills
