- Plan and execute database capacity planning and storage management
- Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and database design
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands on Database Administration experience
- Strong experience administering multiple database platforms: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB
- Solid understanding of SQL and database architecture
- Experience with Backup & Recovery strategies
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
- Strong knowledge of Database Security and Access Control
- Experience with High Availability, Replication, Clustering, and Disaster Recovery
- Knowledge of database monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Shell)

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, performance tuning, security, backup, recovery, and high availability of enterprise databases across different database technologies, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and data integrity.

- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix.
