The unit supports better decisions about customers, operations, and markets and contributes to the group's digital transformation.
Role Overview
The Senior Data Quality and Automation Engineer works autonomously as a fully participating member of a cross-functional Enterprise Data and Analytics team.
The role designs and implements data quality and automation platforms and supports technical analytics solutions and products.
Core Responsibilities
- Refine complex functional and non-functional requirements into fit-for-purpose acceptance tests with product owners, analysts, engineers, and architects.
- Build test strategies and plans for code functionality, data quality, performance, and security.
- Generate or mock test data for exploratory analysis and test execution.
- Design and build automated tests and jobs across data pipeline stages.
- Build and enhance data quality rules and data pipeline observability.
- Debug complex issues and resolve blockers with minimal or no supervision.
- Conduct source analysis, data modelling, data dictionary collection, data profiling, and source-to-target mapping.
