Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient, reliable, and maintainable data solutions.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from a variety of internal and external source systems.
Develop reusable frameworks, automation solutions, and data engineering best practices to improve platform efficiency and reliability.
Support CI/CD processes and promote DevOps and DataOps practices across the data platform.
Drive improvements in platform reliability, scalability, observability, and operational efficiency.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues.
Provide technical guidance, support, and recommendations related to Azure data platform, data reliability, consistency, performance, and platform optimization.
Create, maintain, and enhance operational documentation, support runbooks, standards, and knowledge-sharing resources.
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and performance tuning activities while mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes, and technical capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or STEM related field preferred.
5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data platforms, cloud data solutions, and large-scale data integration environments.
4+ years of experience building and supporting data pipelines using Microsoft Azure technologies.
Experience designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT solutions for analytics, reporting, and operational data workloads.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering, automation, and performance optimization.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments, and DevOps/DataOps practices.
Experience working with real-time and event-driven data processing technologies such as Event Hubs, Kafka, Spark Streaming, or related platforms.
Familiarity with healthcare data, FHIR standards, interoperability platforms, or healthcare analytics environments preferred.
