Overview
Fraser Health is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Centre for Advanced Analytics, Data Science, and Innovation (CAADSI) department.
The role involves providing leadership in data analysis, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the department's technical infrastructure is sustained.
The position is located at the Central City office in Surrey, BC, with a hybrid work model (2 days per week in the office).
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in developing, processing, evaluating, and reviewing information for decision-making purposes.
- Act as a senior analytical resource and provide expertise in quality and performance measurement, best practices, and information management.
- Assess, develop, and evaluate reporting procedures, explore automation opportunities, and ensure actionable insights.
- Recommend departmental standards for database architecture and design, and maintain metadata.
- Ensure knowledge transfer between technical resources during the development of decision support applications.
- Liaise with clients to understand business analytical needs and develop solutions.
- Provide detailed data narratives, identify key issues, and forecast trends for strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate data exchange with various agencies, including Ministry of Health and external research groups.
