Position Overview
The Senior Data Analyst / BI Analyst supports data transformation, reporting, and modernization initiatives.
The role works with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into practical technical and data solutions.
Key technologies include Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, data modelling, and data warehousing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, clarify, and document complex data and reporting requirements with business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, transformation rules, and reporting solutions.
- Analyze processes and legacy data sources to determine how information should be transformed and migrated.
- Integrate and consolidate data from Excel, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and legacy systems.
- Use Alteryx to blend, cleanse, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources.
- Support repository and data layers within Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Identify improvements that make data and reporting solutions more efficient and user-friendly.
- Validate requirements, resolve data issues, and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
