Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst / BI Analyst to support data transformation, reporting, and modernization initiatives. This role requires someone who can work closely with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into practical technical and data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, data modelling, and data warehousing, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, clarify, and document complex data and reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, transformation rules, and reporting solutions.
- Analyze existing processes and legacy data sources to determine how information should be transformed and migrated into modern platforms.
- Integrate and consolidate data from multiple sources, including Excel, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and legacy systems.
- Use Alteryx to blend, cleanse, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources.
- Support the creation and use of repository/data layers within Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to make data and reporting solutions more efficient and user-friendly.
