Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Cost Controller Engineer** to oversee project cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost variances
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management
- Analyze cost performance and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
- Track commitments, invoices, and cash flow projections
- Support tendering and estimation processes
- Implement cost control systems and tools
- Conduct risk analysis related to project costs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in cost control (preferably in construction, oil & gas, or EPC projects)
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and financial analysis
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Excel)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
