We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our construction team in Saudi Arabia. The role involves promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and Saudi regulations, conducting site inspections, and supporting accident prevention.

Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable Saudi regulations.
- Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors.
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and inspection records.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain emergency preparedness.
- Monitor permits to work and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Support project management in achieving HSE objectives and maintaining a strong safety culture.
Requirements
- Saudi National (Required)
- 1–5 years of experience in construction safety
- Knowledge of Saudi occupational health and safety regulations and construction safety standards
- Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on construction sites and in a fast paced environment
