- Support cost management activities across design, tender, and construction phases
- Prepare, review, and update cost estimates during design stages
- Develop cost plans, estimate summaries, quantity take offs, and budget validation reports
- Review design information to identify cost drivers and risks
- Support tender stage cost reconciliation by comparing estimates and bid prices
- Identify variances and prepare cost reconciliation reports
- Coordinate with tendering, procurement, and engineering teams
- Support construction phase cost control including budget tracking and forecasting
- Monitor actual costs against budgets and identify variances
- Review payment applications, variation requests, and change orders
- Maintain cost registers, budget logs, and change logs
- Support estimate at completion updates and cash flow forecasting
Requirements
- Experience in cost management for large scale capital projects
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Knowledge of cost estimation, tender reconciliation, and cost control
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities
- Support cost management activities across design, tender, and construction phases.
- Prepare, review, and update cost estimates during design stages.
- Develop cost plans, estimate summaries, quantity take offs, benchmarking inputs, cost breakdowns, and budget validation reports.
- Review design information to identify cost drivers, gaps, risks, and exclusions.
- Support tender stage cost reconciliation by comparing internal estimates and bid prices.
- Identify variances and prepare cost reconciliation reports and bid comparison summaries.
- Coordinate with tendering, procurement, contracts, engineering, and commercial teams.
- Support construction phase cost control: budget tracking, committed cost monitoring, forecast updates, cost reporting.
- Monitor actual and forecasted costs against approved budgets.
- Review payment applications, progress claims, variation requests, change orders.
- Maintain cost registers, budget logs, change logs, contingency trackers, cost reports.
- Coordinate with project controls, planning, procurement, contracts, construction, and finance teams.
