In This Role, You Will

  • Be responsible for generation of new business opportunities through relationship management in companies under the Approved Employer List (AEL).
  • Be responsible for developing the sector by ensuring HSBC is the primary bank of choice, offering retail solutions relevant to the sector.
  • Drive, organize and lead financial wellbeing seminars to employees within their sector and branding HSBC as a bank supporting corporate social responsibility.
  • Work closely with RMs from Corporate and Global Banking to target companies where both solutions could be offered.
  • Drive sector led strategies for better management of companies and driving better outcomes through wellbeing seminars and International coverage programs.
  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining and negotiating IWPB product solutions for employees of existing corporate clients.
  • Improve penetration within the company, acting as key point of interface between different departments and companies.
  • Be the spokesperson for the sector from a retail side, driving product, marketing and policies within that sector.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

  • A full understanding of the IWPB products (propositions) and services, including global service standards.
  • Proven experience selling to and working with high net worth individuals.
  • Knowledge of developing a networking strategy and proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of competitor activity and propositions.
  • Strong understanding of HSBC Group, including cross business awareness.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective handover of customer relationships.
  • Capacity to inspire trust.
