- Administer contracts throughout the project execution and close out phases
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, rights, and responsibilities
- Interpret contract provisions and advise project teams on contractual matters
- Maintain contract registers, notices, records, and documentation
- Monitor contractual deliverables, milestones, and obligations
- Manage the contractual aspects of variation orders and change requests
- Ensure timely submission and agreement of variation claims
- Identify potential claims arising from delays, disruptions, scope changes, and other contractual events
- Prepare, review, and substantiate contractual claims
- Coordinate with planning, cost control, and project teams to develop claim documentation
- Evaluate contractor and subcontractor claims and prepare recommendations
- Support negotiations to achieve favorable claim settlements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration and commercial management of construction, infrastructure and/or building engineering
- Proven experience in post contract administration of large scale projects
- Demonstrated experience in claims preparation, EOT assessments, and variation management
- Experience managing subcontract administration and commercial correspondence
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract (Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book)
- Sound understanding of claims management principles and contractual entitlement
- Knowledge of dispute resolution procedures and contract law fundamentals

Role Purpose

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
