Key Responsibilities
- Administer operations and maintenance contracts for dams and associated facilities.
- Review contract conditions, scopes of work, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
- Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations, performance standards, schedules, and deliverables.
- Review variations, claims, payment applications, extensions of time, and contractual correspondence.
- Prepare contractual assessments, recommendations, management reports, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, planning, cost control, procurement, and legal teams.
- Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Monitor milestones, notices, guarantees, insurance, penalties, and close-out requirements.
- Support tendering and award of new dam operations and maintenance contracts.
- Participate in meetings, negotiations, and dispute-resolution activities.
- Maintain contract records, registers, correspondence, and audit trails.
- Ensure contracts comply with Saudi regulations, client procedures, and project governance requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or another relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in contracts administration, contract management, or commercial management.
- Proven experience on dam projects involving operations, maintenance, rehabilitation, or improvement works.
- Practical knowledge of engineering and construction contracts, preferably including FIDIC conditions.
- Experience reviewing variations, claims, payment applications, and extensions of time.
- Familiarity with dam and water-infrastructure technical and commercial requirements.
- Strong contractual reporting, documentation, and correspondence skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred where applicable.
