About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead day to day site management for all construction activities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise structural, architectural, MEP and external works
- Work closely with planning teams to develop and maintain detailed construction programmes
- Coordinate with design management, consultants and contractors to resolve construction related design issues
- Ensure effective site logistics and phasing
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures
- Review and validate contractors' construction methodologies, method statements, risk assessments and resource plans
- Monitor contractor performance, progress and productivity
- Coordinate with MEP and specialist trades to ensure timely installation, testing and commissioning
- Lead or support inspections for substantial completion, snagging and de snagging
- Prepare and contribute to regular site progress reports and coordination meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Minimum 15+ years of construction management experience on large complex building or infrastructure projects
- Strong track record delivering multi disciplinary projects with complex interfaces
- Solid understanding of structural, architectural, MEP and external works construction
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and quality assurance/quality control processes
- Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills

Job Overview

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead day to day site management for all construction activities.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise structural, architectural, MEP and external works.
- Work closely with planning teams to develop and maintain detailed construction programmes.

What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
- Professional membership or certification (e.g. PMP, CIOB or equivalent) is desirable.
- Minimum 15+ years of construction management experience on large complex building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong track record delivering multi disciplinary projects with complex interfaces.
- Solid understanding of structural, architectural, MEP and external works construction.
- Proven experience in site logistics planning, phasing and working in or adjacent to live/operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, site safety practices and quality assurance/quality control processes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications and contracts.
- Experience working closely with planning, commercial and design teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple work fronts.
