Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and specialist engineering support within assigned discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, ELV, or Operations)
- Review and validate engineering designs, technical submissions, specifications, and commissioning documentation
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, commissioning teams, and client representatives to resolve technical issues
- Monitor construction and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and project schedules
- Support Testing & Commissioning planning, execution, and system readiness activities
- Review contractor method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), commissioning procedures, and operational documentation
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- 10 15 years of professional engineering experience
- Experience on large scale infrastructure, mixed use, hospitality, or mega projects
- Previous experience as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer on major projects
- Experience working within a PMC environment is highly desirable
- Professional registration or chartered status preferred

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Commissioning Engineer (PMC) to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide technical leadership and specialist engineering support within the assigned discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, ELV, or Operations).
- Review and validate engineering designs, technical submissions, specifications, and commissioning documentation.
- Support the preparation, review, and technical validation of the Operational Preparedness Report (OPR).
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with project requirements, applicable codes, international standards, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, commissioning teams, and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives.
- Monitor construction and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Identify engineering risks and recommend mitigation measures to maintain project objectives.
- Support Testing & Commissioning planning, execution, and system readiness activities.
- Ensure all engineering activities are performed in accordance with Parsons Quality Management System (QMS), Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements, and project procedures.
- Review contractor method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), commissioning procedures, and operational documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline from an accredited institution.
- Professional registration or chartered status is preferred.
- Additional certifications in Testing & Commissioning, Project Management, or Construction Management are advantageous.
- 10 15 years of professional engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience on large scale infrastructure, mixed use, hospitality, or mega projects.
- Previous experience as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer on major projects.
- Experience working within a Project Management Consultant (PMC) environment is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with internationally recognized engineering or consulting organizations is preferred.
