The Opportunity
We are looking for a
Senior Cloud Architect
to lead the design and execution of enterprise cloud strategy within a large-scale organisation in Riyadh.
This is a
high-impact, on-site role
where you will work closely with business and technology leadership to shape cloud adoption across mission-critical systems.
Given the nature of stakeholder engagement,
Arabic language capability is strongly preferred
.
Cloud Strategy & Architecture
- Define and drive enterprise cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures
- Lead adoption of cloud-native and modern engineering practices
Solution Design & Delivery
- Architect end-to-end solutions across
- multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Design distributed, multi-tier applications at scale
- Ensure performance, resilience, and cost efficiency
Governance & Security
- Establish cloud governance, architecture standards, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
- Act as the
- technical authority
- across all cloud initiatives
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions
- Guide engineering and DevOps teams throughout delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a
- Cloud Architect in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in
AWS, Azure, or GCP
- (multi-cloud highly desirable)
- Deep knowledge of
- cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience designing
- hybrid and multi-cloud solutions
- Strong understanding of
- cloud security, networking, and governance frameworks
- Background in
- software engineering or system design
- Ability to work
- on-site in Riyadh full-time
Preferred
- **Arabic speaking**
- (highly preferred due to stakeholder interaction)
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP Architect level)
- Experience with
DevOps, CI And CD, Terraform, Kubernetes
- Experience within
- large enterprise or government environments
