We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.As part of the Service Development Branch, you will lead complex clinical service development projects and provide expert clinical and project leadership to support reform, promote consistency, and enhance the quality of service delivery across Forensic Intervention Services.The role applies advanced clinical expertise together with strong project management capability to identify service improvement opportunities, lead implementation of change, and provide authoritative advice on practice, policy and operational matters.This is the perfect opportunity if you're looking to expand your expertise, enjoy a more dynamic role or leave a lasting influence in a progressive field.In addition to compelling work, we offer:flexible work optionsmental health and wellbeing supportannual leadership forums and conferencesprofessional registration fundingrelocation allowances for eligible candidatesWhat you'll doAs the Senior Clinical Project Lead working in the Service Development team, you will:Lead and manage complex clinical service development projects and reform initiatives that support the effective, consistent and evidence-based delivery of Forensic Intervention Services across Victoria.Drive service improvement, practice integrity and reform through strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement and a sustained clinical lens.Provide high-level authoritative clinical advice and guidance on complex clinical and operational issues, and identify practical solutions to improve service quality, practice integrity and service delivery outcomes.Lead, support and mentor a small team, while contributing to broader branch and divisional priorities and reform initiatives.To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience leading and managing complex projects, service development initiatives or reform activities within clinical, forensic or correctional settings.Highly developed clinical knowledge and experience working with high-risk and complex clients, including assessment, risk management, therapeutic intervention and the application of evidence-based rehabilitation frameworks.Demonstrated ability to provide high-level clinical and operational advice, prepare complex written materials, and engage, influence and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in supporting, mentoring or supervising staff.QualificationsRegistration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia; orEligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW); orA master's degree in psychotherapy and eligible for registration with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA); orA master's degree in counselling and eligible for membership with Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA); orCredentialed as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses; orRegistration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of AustraliaAt least two years clinical experience is required post-registration or membership.Specialist training and/or postgraduate qualifications in a clinical or forensic field, is desirable.A current Victorian Driver's licence is required.To learn more about the type of skills you will need to thrive in this role, please read the attached position description.To find out more about the role and FIS, watch our career information video, visit our microsite or contact our recruitment team at candidatecare@justice.vic.gov.au.We want to make sure all Victorians feel represented by the department's work.
