You will lead assessments and case management for people seeking redress.You will guide a team through sensitive and complex applications.You will help people access redress and support services when they need them.You will use your skills to make fair, clear and timely decisions.Fixed-Term (until 30/09/2027), full-time role earning $142,790 - $191,084per year, plus super.What you will doAs principal assessor and program officer, you will lead case management and assessments.You will guide your team while also working directly with applicants.You will:lead sensitive case management and support applicants through the application process.coordinate complex assessments and write clear reasons for recommended outcomes.guide team practice and promote trauma-informed support for applicants.provide authoritative advice on complex issues to senior leaders.check records, reports and assessment work to support quality and timely outcomes.About youThere are no mandatory qualifications for this role. A qualification in social work, psychology and/or nursing is highly desirable.You should also have:experience leading projects that support people affected by trauma or other harm.strong skills in trauma-informed case management and complex support.strong writing and analysis skills to assess complex information clearly.the ability to lead people, manage difficult conversations and improve service quality.To learn even more about this role, please read the position description.
