About the Role
Six Construct is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in water infrastructure projects to lead design review and tendering for sewage treatment plants in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Lead the review and validation of civil and structural designs prepared by consultants, licensors, and EPC partners
- Review structural calculations, challenge design assumptions, and guide engineering development from concept through detailed design
- Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, and construction teams to ensure integration of civil and structural works
- Support tendering activities including BOQ preparation, cost estimation, value engineering, and pricing strategies
- Propose optimized structural solutions for water and wastewater treatment facilities with a focus on constructability, durability, and CAPEX optimization
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards including Eurocodes, ACI, and BS standards
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high quality engineering deliverables
- Provide technical support during execution phases including design review follow up and interface with site teams
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in environmental infrastructure projects, preferably water or wastewater treatment
- Middle East experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design for hydraulic structures
- Familiarity with international design standards such as Eurocodes, ACI, and BS standards
- Fluent English is required

Job Description
- As part of BESIX Environment, this role supports the development of sewage treatment plants and related water infrastructure projects across the region. The Senior Civil / Structural Engineer will play a key role during tendering and early design stages, ensuring that civil and structural solutions
What You’ll Drive
- Lead the review and validation of civil and structural designs prepared by consultants, licensors, and EPC partners.
- Review structural calculations, challenge design assumptions, and guide engineering development from concept through detailed design.

Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in environmental infrastructure projects, preferably water or wastewater treatment.

- European project or supplier exposure is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design for hydraulic structures.
- Familiarity with international design standards such as Eurocodes, ACI, and BS standards.
- Fluent English is required. Hindi or Arabic is a plus.
