Role Overview
Perform and support civil and structural engineering design activities for project work.
The role focuses on Oil & Gas facilities and major engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform civil and structural analysis and design activities for Oil & Gas facilities.
- Develop and review structural calculations, engineering analyses, and technical documentation.
- Use STAAD.Pro and MAT3D for structural modelling, analysis, and design.
- Apply American design codes and standards, including AISC and ACI, and meet TOTAL GS requirements.
- Review drawings, calculations, and design deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance.
- Provide solutions for design issues and coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
- Participate in design reviews, technical coordination, and resolution of interface issues.
- Identify discrepancies and risks, support technical queries and changes, and maintain design records.
- Complete deliverables in line with project requirements, schedules, and applicable standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Extensive structural design experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience on major Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCC, or similar engineering projects is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in civil and structural engineering design and analysis.
Technical Competencies
- STAAD.Pro and MAT3D.
- Structural analysis and design, including steel structures and reinforced concrete.
- AISC, ACI, American engineering standards, and TOTAL GS requirements.
- Engineering calculations, technical documentation, design review, and multidisciplinary coordination.
