About the Role

- Manage and coordinate specialized construction activities supported by a team of moderate size and complexity
- Oversee design and construction of tunnel and shaft support systems
- Interface and interpret MEP/architectural/structural engineering requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years post graduate experience in deep tunnels
- Post graduate geotechnical/engineering geology training at master's level preferred
- Experience in marine environment preferred
- Demonstrable track record in delivery of large multidisciplinary projects involving civil, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical works
- In depth knowledge of design procedures in underground construction including international codes, standards, and guidelines
- Technically proficient in all aspects of tunneling and shaft support systems (cast in situ and precast linings)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
- Evidence of suitable professional qualification, CEng or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
- Driver's Licence

Requirements
- Minimum 18 years post graduate experience in deep tunnels. Experience in the marine environment preferred.
- Post graduate geotechnical/engineering geology training at master’s level (minimum) preferred with emphasis on rock mechanics and weak rock engineering.
- Experienced professional who can manage and coordinate specialized construction activities supported by a team of moderate size and complexity.
- Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary Projects involving civil, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical works.
- In depth knowledge of design procedures in underground construction including knowledge of international codes, standards and guidelines.
- Technically proficient in all aspects of tunneling and shaft support systems (both cast in situ and precast linings) interfacing and interpreting MEP/architectural/structural engineering requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field such as Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Evidence of suitable professional qualification, CEng or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
- Driver’s Licence.
