Responsibilities
- Review, recommend enhancements and implement project management and planning procedures
- Track and monitor progress of project phases to support timely execution
- Analyze scheduling interfaces with other projects to minimize clashes and delays
- Liaise with Procurement and Contracts division for materials, logistics, and resources
- Review and analyze validity of Contractors' schedule delay claims
- Conduct preliminary schedule impact analysis of proposed scope changes
- Coordinate development of budget proposals for technical services
- Develop monthly cost reports with variance analysis
- Support cost estimation of new service contracts
- Implement project cost control concepts including budgeting, tracking, forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil)
- 8 years' relevant work experience in project planning in a large manufacturing facility in the energy sector
- Experience in SAP or similar enterprise portal application
- Skilled in identifying project critical paths and determining appropriate project milestones
- Skilled in estimating project resource planning techniques

Primary Purpose
- Provide expert advice and services for project planning, scheduling, reporting, and material control for all projects within Technical Services.
Responsibilities
- Review, recommend enhancements and implement project management and planning procedures.
- Responsible for initial scope review and phasing of initial project budget.
- Track and monitor progress of project phases.
- Analyze scheduling interfaces with other projects.
- Liaise with Procurement and Contracts division.
- Review and analyze validity of Contractors' schedule delay claims.
- Conduct preliminary schedule impact analysis of proposed changes.
- Coordinate development of budget proposals.
- Develop monthly cost reports with variance analysis.
- Support cost estimation of new service contracts.
- Coordinate availability of cost information.
- Implement project cost control concepts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil).
- Experience in SAP or similar enterprise portal application.
- 8 years' relevant work experience in project planning in a similar large manufacturing facility in the energy sector.
- Skilled in identifying project critical paths and determining appropriate project milestones.
- Skilled in estimating project resource planning techniques.
