Position Overview

What You'll Do
Prepare and oversee civil engineering designs for commercial and federal construction projects
Develop grading, drainage, utility, and site layout plans
Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and construction teams
Conduct site visits and support field operations as needed
Ensure designs meet applicable U.S. military and federal requirements
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff
Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations
Assist with process improvements and departmental growth initiatives
Salary Range
- $125,000 – $175,000 annually, depending on experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design, project delivery, or related industrial construction projects (foundation and below aspects: design land development, building pads, infrastructure for new builds, etc.)
- At least 6 years of experience focused on grading, drainage, and utility design
- Department of Defense (DoD) project experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel required
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
