Senior Civil Engineer - BLS - Jeddah - KSA

Overview

Your Task

• Responsible for inspection and testing of buildings according to the Saudi building codes and international standards for general quality of construction such as (third-party for civil engineering quality firm, scope of IDI, CWI, etc.)
• Issuing reports & documentations of findings and comments in accordance with the Saudi building codes and international standards.
• Review of design documents and assessment of existing buildings, writing of reports, and preparing of certificates regarding to TUV SUD process, procedures and assets.
• Addressing and resolving any construction-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Comply with TUV SUD guidelines and regulations including permits, safety and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
• Receiving and resolving the escalated complaints by clients.
• Fulfilling the client schedules in safe timely and sustainable manner.
• Conducting regular inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with design specifications regarding to the Saudi Building codes.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate construction activities and ensure project objectives are met regarding to the Saudi building codes specifications.
• Be updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and changes in building codes and regulations to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
• Compliance with TUV SUD policies and procedures regarding to the safety equipment (PPE).
• Internally fulfilling the equipment for out digital software (BLS-Plan radar-etc.)
• Follow the work instructions from his team leader and QA/QC assigned engineer
• Taking over responsibilities to other colleagues (TUV SUD Engineers) for non-assign projects due to emergency for leaves.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 Years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, including foundations, concrete, steel structures and finishing.
• Proven experience in site inspection, supervision, and quality control.
• Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site safety practices.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
