We are seeking a highly experienced Senior C++ Engineer to join a R&D team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing high-performance software solutions for RF-related applications and will contribute throughout the full product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimise, and integrate software solutions for radio frequency (RF) applications
- Participate in all stages of product development, from concept and architecture through implementation, optimisation, integration, and verification
- Apply strong software engineering and design principles to develop scalable and maintainable solutions
- Implement domain-specific algorithms and ensure efficient execution
- Develop test frameworks, validation tools, and interfaces to ensure software quality and reliability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support product delivery and performance improvements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong expertise in modern C++ programming and object-oriented design principles
- Extensive experience working in Linux environments; Ubuntu experience is preferred
- Proven experience in multi-threaded, real-time software design, implementation, and debugging
- Familiarity with software development and version control tools such as Git, Jira (or similar issue tracking tools), and Conan (or equivalent package managers).
- Preferred and bonus skills
- Experience programming in C and/or Python
- Familiarity with Docker and containerised environments
- Hands-on experience with laboratory and RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analysers, logic analysers, and oscilloscopes.
