Company Description

  • Lightweight Construction Company (SIPOREX) is a pioneering leader in the precast construction industry, specializing in Lightweight Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) since 1976.
  • As a 100% Saudi owned company, SIPOREX has played a key role in modernizing urban and infrastructure development across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region.
  • With three plants in the 2nd Industrial City near Al Kharj Road in Riyadh, the company has an annual production capacity of 450,000 cubic meters of AAC products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for aerated concrete products (Siporex blocks/panels and related solutions).
  • Map and analyze the Saudi market, including target segments such as Ministries, contractors, developers, MEP/finishing contractors, consultants, and distributors.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to meet annual and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision makers across main contractors, subcontractors, developers, consultants, and distributors.
  • Conduct technical and commercial discussions, aligning product capabilities with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and develop a healthy pipeline for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Forecast sales and report pipeline health, conversion rates, and target achievement.
  • Understand competitors, pricing structures, lead times, and product specifications.
  • Promote the technical advantages of Siporex/aerated concrete (e.g., thermal/acoustic performance, speed of installation, and project suitability).
  • Support product approvals and documentation required for tenders and vendor registration.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with Ministries, Consultants and contractors.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements to expand market reach.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil/Arch. Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in building materials (preferred: AAC/aerated concrete, cement/concrete products, insulation, masonry systems, or construction).
  • Strong understanding of Saudi construction market dynamics and tender/project cycles in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building a sales pipeline.

Technical / Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (Arabic and English preferred).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple accounts/projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze market and competitor data.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling aerated concrete / AAC blocks/panels or similar masonry/building envelope products.
  • Experience working with contractors, developers, and consultants on building materials specifications and approvals.
  • Experience supporting vendor registration, tenders, and prequalification processes.
