Requirements
- Strong experience in Payments (mandatory)
- Knowledge of ISO 20022
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MT/MX)
- Knowledge of payment hubs / core banking systems
- Experience in business and functional analysis
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payments initiatives
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
- Ability to conduct gap analysis between existing and proposed payment systems
- Ability to create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and functional specs

Role Overview
- We are seeking a Payments Business Analyst with deep domain expertise across payments processing, clearing & settlement, and digital payments ecosystems.
- The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements, solution design, and delivery across payment platforms.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Business & Functional Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payments initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct gap analysis between existing and proposed payment systems.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and functional specs.
- Payments Domain Expertise: Work across key payments areas: Wire Payments (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS), ACH / SEPA, Real Time Payments (RTP) / Faster Payments, Cards & Merchant Payments.
- Understand end to end payment lifecycle: Initiation → Validation → Clearing → Settlement → Reconciliation.
Domain Skills
- Strong experience in Payments (mandatory).
- Knowledge of ISO 20022.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MT/MX).
- Knowledge of payment hubs / core banking systems.
