About the Role
RBC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Digital BA team, delivering exceptional digital banking experiences. You will drive requirements planning, elicitation, analysis, and documentation for medium to large projects, bridging business and technical teams.

- Develop requirements plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements
- Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
- Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to identify business priorities
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, review and prioritization
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze and document detailed business requirements and system requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology
- Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives
- Support Design, Development, and QE activities by providing requirements clarifications
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within large Financial Institutions
- Experience working on Digital banking projects and hands on experience with agile methodologies
- Strong experience in both business and technical analysis
- Experience with user stories, business and systems specifications, business context diagrams, business process maps, use cases and user story maps
- Experience in requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, Surveys
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is an asset
- Agile certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or similar are an asset
- Experience in Loyalty programs is an asset

What is the opportunity?
- Join RBC’s Digital BA team in delivering exceptional digital banking experiences to our clients across different platforms.
- Responsible for requirements analysis activities on medium to large size projects, driving requirements planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management.
- Ideal candidate has proven track record in business and systems analysis, deep understanding of agile methodologies, digital product experience, background in financial services, and passion for digital banking platforms.
What will you do?
- Develop requirements plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
- Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties.
- Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to identify business priorities.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, review and prioritization.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze and document detailed business requirements and system requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology.
- Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders.

What do you need to succeed? Must have
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within large Financial Institutions.
- Experience working on Digital banking projects and hands on experience with agile methodologies and working on agile projects.
- Strong experience in both business and technical analysis, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
- Experience with user stories, business and systems specifications, business context diagrams, business process maps, use cases and user story maps.
- Experience in requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, Surveys.
