- Work closely with CAD/BIM manager and Design Leads to ensure project compliance and timely completion
- Coordinate with different CAD teams, ensuring design inputs and clashes are notified and deadlines met
- Utilize CAD workstations to develop engineering drawings from sketches or general design information
- Understand BIM modeling process and manage all BIM related activities from project start up to completion
- Review drawings for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards per QA/QC process
- Create parametric and non parametric families
- Produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model
- Ensure proper documentation of design changes, drawing revisions, and project updates
- Manage digital archiving of completed project drawings
- Implement quality control processes to catch errors early
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting and BIM experience in Wet and Dry utilities projects
- 3+ years of Utility Pipe Network Modelling
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Navisworks
- Advanced knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) usage and management
- Good knowledge of DEWA / DM / RTA standards and existing utilities management
- Good knowledge of BIM, LOD requirements, and BIM processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Job Description

- Role involves CAD/BIM professional work in creation, modification, and management of infrastructure design drawings and models.
What You'll Be Doing

What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting and BIM experience in Wet and Dry utilities projects with 3+ years of Utility Pipe Network Modelling.
- Must have software experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks.
- Advance knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) usage and management for model production Autodesk Forma and Bentley ProjectWise.
- MicroStation Software knowledge is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in LOD requirements.
- Good knowledge in DEWA / DM / RTA standards and existing utilities management.
- Good knowledge in BIM, understand LOD requirements and BIM processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Proficiency in BIM software including Navisworks, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Experience working to international standards such as ISO 19650.
- Strong knowledge in Infrastructure Wet & Dry utilities Model and layout preparation.
- Experience with clash detection, issue management, and model based design review.
- Support training initiatives and knowledge sharing within the BIM team.
- Understanding of ROW related and cross sections / Routing plan preparation.
- Capable of identifying issues and finding solutions to challenges during the design and review process.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
