- Prepare and serve exceptional espresso based drinks, brewed coffee, and signature beverages with consistency
- Dial in espresso and calibrate grinders daily to maintain quality standards
- Master latte art and brewing methods (V60, Chemex, AeroPress, etc.)
- Monitor and uphold specialty coffee standards for flavor, presentation, and speed
- Deliver warm, personalized service, engaging with customers to share knowledge of coffee origins, tasting notes, and brewing processes
- Handle customer feedback professionally and ensure satisfaction
- Foster a welcoming and memorable café atmosphere
- Mentor and train Junior Baristas, guiding them in coffee knowledge, service skills, and café procedures
- Support management in developing the café team through workshops and tastings
- Take responsibility for shift leadership, delegating tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in café opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational efficiency
- Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and report shortages
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a barista in a specialty café
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, processing, brewing methods, and latte art
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior staff
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to handle peak service times while maintaining quality and composure
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
