Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable server side applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
- Contribute to system architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK)
- Design and optimise databases (SQL and NoSQL), ensuring efficiency and reliability
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal services, external APIs, and microservices
- Implement logging, monitoring, telemetry, and fault tolerant systems
- Work closely with frontend, game, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with prior experience in a Senior role
- Strong experience with TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem (NestJS, Express, or Fastify)
- Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and event driven architectures
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design (GraphQL is a plus)
- English level: Upper Intermediate (B2+) or higher

- We’re looking for a Senior Backend + DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and secure the core systems behind our gaming platform and live services.
- This is a dual focused role where you will design robust application architecture and own the infrastructure lifecycle.
- This is a hands on engineering role where you will design architecture, implement features, and work on systems that directly impact hundreds of thousands of users.
Who You Are
- Senior Engineer with Strong Fundamentals: 5+ years building and maintaining scalable backend systems, Senior level role previously.
- TypeScript/Node.js Expert: deep proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like NestJS, Express, or Fastify.
- DevOps Mindset: treat infrastructure as code, mandatory in DevOps practices with hands on experience managing cloud environments, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD automation.
- Systems Thinker: understand distributed systems, event driven architecture, and design for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Execution Focused: comfortable owning features and infrastructure end to end.
- Collaborative Builder: work well across teams and align with frontend, game, and infrastructure engineers.
Responsibilities

- Observability & Reliability: Implement logging, monitoring, telemetry, and fault tolerant systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, game, and DevOps teams.
- Engineering Process: Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with prior experience in a Senior role.
- Mandatory: Strong experience with TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem (NestJS, Express, or Fastify).
- Mandatory DevOps: Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. (AWS/GCP/Azure experience is a plus).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and event driven architectures.

- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in fast paced environments.
