Accounting & Financial Control

• Own the full accounting cycle across entities, including reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Rebuild and maintain IFRS compliant financial records aligned with UAE regulations
• Oversee digital assets transaction accounting (wallets, exchanges etc) with proper classification and audit trails
• Manage payroll, bank payments, and all disbursements with full control and documentation
• Ensure all transactions are approved, traceable, and audit-ready

Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting

• Lead budgeting cycles with department heads and consolidate into a unified plan
• Monitor budgets vs actuals, highlight variances, and drive corrective actions
• Maintain monthly spend plans, rolling forecasts, and cash flow visibility

Systems, Claims & Process

• Set up, structure, and own accounting systems and integrations end-to-end
• Oversee claims, reimbursements, and project-level financial tracking
• Maintain structured trackers and improve workflows through automation

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax
• Own audit readiness and act as the primary liaison with auditors
• Manage statutory filings and coordinate with tax advisors

Financial Analysis & Insights

• Deliver reports on project profitability, cost drivers, and spend efficiency
• Support financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning
• Provide actionable insights to improve financial discipline

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA / CA / ACCA preferred).
• 5+ years of UAE-based accounting experience.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, and UAE audit processes.
• Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and high standards of financial ethics.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Hands-on experience with modern accounting systems (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience in preparing management reports.
• Excellent documentation discipline and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Reliable and committed to maintaining full confidentiality.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently without supervision
