- Develop and mentor team members

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design
- At least 5 years in a senior or leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methodologies
- Proven experience managing and mentoring diverse teams
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Proficiency with industry standard design software and BIM tools
- Excellent project management skills with ability to deliver on schedule and within budget
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience conducting design reviews and quality assurance assessments

- Responsible for providing architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies, and recommendations for a specialized segment of the Architectural Discipline within the schedules and budget of an assigned project.
- Manage various size groups of architects, designers, and/or specialists, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.
- Assist Project Architectural or Engineering Managers with higher grades on complex initiatives and provide technical expertise as needed.
- Oversee project delivery and ensure adherence to design standards, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements throughout all project phases.
- Develop and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional growth and skill advancement.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including engineering, construction, and client stakeholders, to align design solutions with project objectives and constraints.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively, tracking expenditures and optimizing resource allocation to maximize project efficiency.
- Conduct design reviews and quality assurance assessments to ensure technical excellence and compliance with established architectural standards and best practices.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation within the design discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methodologies
- Proven experience managing and mentoring diverse teams of architects, designers, and technical specialists
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (ADA, IBC, local zoning regulations)
- Proficiency with industry standard design software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts to stakeholders
- Experience conducting design reviews and quality assurance assessments
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams including engineering, construction, and client representatives
