What You Will Do

• The team is looking to hire a high caliber senior Associate with 6-9 years of relevant experience to join the Infrastructure team.
• The successful candidate will be exposed to the full investment lifecycle, from origination, valuation, execution, to asset management, value creation and exit/monetization.
• The person will be responsible for building the financial models, conducting due diligence, researching and analyzing new investment opportunities, preparing and presenting investment materials to the relevant committees as well as supporting on asset management activities.
• You will support the deal teams to successfully complete allocated transactions, with a view to developing your experience and capability to become an investment leader in the future.
• Investment Strategy: understand the investment strategy, market dynamics and Mubadala’s position and use this insight to inform your day-to-day activities
• Business development, participate in the sourcing and evaluation of new business opportunities, building Mubadala’s reputation as a leading partner.
• Deal execution, support the execution of the deal cycle with an emphasis on completing the delivery of the diligence, valuation, modelling and business cases.
• Asset Management: work with the Value Creation team to develop the portfolio and deliver the business case and expected returns.
• Stakeholder Management: represent Mubadala in the market, to prospects, partners, relevant authorities and stakeholders.
• Self-Leadership: develop yourself to progress as a professional and your contribution to Mubadala. Support others to improve their performance.
• What will you bring:
• To succeed within this role, you will be bringing a strong mix of practical experience, technical skills and business skills, including the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Master’s degree from a top-tier international institution or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CAIA) is preferred
• 6 – 9 years of experience in Infrastructure investing with expertise in Infrastructure financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis, or asset management.
• Proven ability to coach and manage junior team members (Analysts/Senior Analysts)
• Deep understanding of infrastructure sectors, including how companies create value and operate, with the ability to contribute to business planning and performance improvement initiatives
• Skilled in analysing financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheets) to assess performance, build valuation models, and conduct ratio analysis
• Confident in representing the team in external meetings and negotiations with stakeholders
• Capable of managing assets as an Investment/Asset Manager, with guidance from senior team members
• Able to synthesize data and analysis into clear insights and actionable recommendations
• Experienced in preparing concise summaries for board or committee discussions and presenting effectively to senior leadership and external parties
• Proficient in building complex, error-free financial models independently
• Working knowledge of deal execution processes including tax, legal, financing, and M&A
• Strong commercial acumen and track record in evaluating businesses and investment opportunities
• Skilled in developing clear, structured narratives for complex documents such as investment business cases
