About the Role
EY wavespace Riyadh seeks an Event Technology Support Specialist to lead technology planning and execution for client workshops and leadership sessions. The role requires hands-on experience with AV systems, Microsoft Teams, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead technology planning and execution for client workshops, leadership sessions, and wavespace programmes
- Configure and prepare the wavespace environment to enable immersive and design thinking experiences
- Conduct pre session technical checks and dry runs with facilitators and stakeholders
- Provide real time technical support during live sessions, ensuring rapid troubleshooting and fallback solutions
- Operate and maintain AV systems including LED walls, interactive displays, control systems, and Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Ensure technology readiness and perform routine health checks and maintenance
- Act as the primary on site technology point of contact during workshops and events
- Collaborate with facilitators, account teams, vendors, and global wavespace teams
- Support onboarding and training of additional or backup support personnel
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance client experience and technology reliability
- Ensure compliance with EY security, governance, and risk standards
- Support inspections, audits, and readiness checks for key client engagements
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills across AV, hardware, software, and collaboration platforms
- Hands on experience with enterprise AV systems and Microsoft Teams environments
- Ability to perform effectively in high pressure, client facing settings
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- AV certifications (e.g., CTS, Dante, Crestron, Extron) are a plus
- Networking knowledge including AV over IP concepts
- Experience supporting executive briefing centres, innovation hubs, or similar environments
- Network certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA
- Familiarity with enterprise IT/AV governance, access control, and data security
- Prior experience working in the Middle East or in culturally diverse client environments

The Opportunity
- EY wavespace Riyadh is a flagship, executive facing environment designed to host immersive client workshops, leadership engagements, and strategic programmes across government, infrastructure, energy, and enterprise sectors.
- We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Event Technology Support Specialist to lead and manage all aspects of technology support within the wavespace.
- This role is critical in delivering seamless, high quality technology experiences and ensuring the success of client engagements.

- Be fluent in English, with Business Arabic proficiency strongly preferred.
