Role Overview
A boutique UAE disputes practice established in 2009 is hiring a Senior Associate for one appointment at five years' post-qualification experience.
The practice works before the DIFC Courts and in international arbitration under DIAC, LCIA, and ICC Rules.
Role Focus
- Handle DIFC Courts litigation.
- Handle international commercial arbitration.
- Work on matters involving DIAC, LCIA, and ICC Rules, including DIAC-administered arbitrations seated in the DIFC.
Minimum Criteria
- Have five years of post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm in the UAE or United Kingdom.
- Equivalent experience as a junior barrister of the Bar of England and Wales may be considered if currently resident in the UAE.
- Hold a law degree from a leading university in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, or Canada.
- Have demonstrable contentious experience; experience before the DIFC Courts, English Courts, or in international commercial arbitration is desirable.
- Be currently based in the UAE or have a firm commitment to relocate.
