About the Role
A global top-10 sovereign wealth fund based in the Middle East is expanding its Retail & Consumer Investments team. They are seeking a Senior Associate (7+ years experience) and Associate (5+ years) to support global investments.

Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities across the global Retail & Consumer landscape
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation assessments, industry research, and commercial due diligence
- Build and maintain complex financial models including operating models, LBO models, DCF analyses, and merger/acquisition scenarios
- Lead and support transaction execution processes, coordinating with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholders
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and investment committees
- Monitor existing portfolio companies and provide strategic and financial analysis to support value creation
- Assess market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging themes within Retail & Consumer sectors
- Support post investment activities including performance monitoring, growth strategy assessment, and exit planning
Requirements
- Senior Associate: 7+ years of relevant experience within a leading Investment Bank, Elite Boutique, Private Equity fund, or other highly regarded investment platform
- Associate: 5+ years of relevant experience within a leading Investment Bank, Elite Boutique, Private Equity fund, or other highly regarded investment platform
- Recent Retail & Consumer transaction experience is essential
- Exposure to North American and/or European transactions and investments is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree from a leading university with an outstanding academic record
- Excellent financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and communication skills

About the Role
- Our client, a global top 10 sovereign wealth fund based in the Middle East, is expanding its Retail & Consumer Investments team.
- They are seeking a high calibre Senior Associate and Associate to support investments across the global Consumer & Retail sector.
Senior Associate Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience within a leading Investment Bank, Elite Boutique, Private Equity fund, or other highly regarded investment platform.
- Strong experience leading transaction workstreams across Retail & Consumer investments and M&A transactions.
Associate Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience within a leading Investment Bank, Elite Boutique, Private Equity fund, or other highly regarded investment platform.
- Demonstrated transaction experience across Retail & Consumer investments and/or M&A transactions.
For Both Levels
- Experience gained at a Tier 1 bulge bracket bank, elite boutique, leading private equity firm, or other highly regarded investment platform.
- Exposure to M&A, principal investing, private equity, growth equity, or strategic investments.
- Recent Retail & Consumer transaction experience is essential.
- Exposure to North American and/or European transactions and investments is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree from a leading university with an outstanding academic record.
- Excellent financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and communication skills.

- Support post investment activities, including performance monitoring, growth strategy assessment, and exit planning where appropriate.
