About Role
- Reporting to Head of MENA Investments, drive investment activity across direct private investments, co investments, and selected public equity transactions in MENA, with emphasis on private equity.
- Own financial modeling, lead transaction execution and sourcing, manage a complex legacy portfolio, and support capital deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead transaction execution workstreams across direct private equity investments, co investments, and selected public market transactions.
- Manage financial, commercial, and operational due diligence processes, coordinating internal teams and external advisors.
- Take primary responsibility for monitoring portfolio investments across private and selected public equity holdings in MENA.
- Lead performance analysis, KPI tracking, valuation updates, and portfolio reviews.
- Prepare and contribute to portfolio materials for Investment Committee discussions.
- Drive selected post investment and value creation initiatives with senior stakeholders.
- Lead development and review of detailed financial models including return analysis, sensitivities, downside cases, and structuring.
- Own valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions) across private and selected public equity investments.
- Review and challenge assumptions ensuring analytical rigor.
- Take ownership of investment memoranda and analytical materials presented to Investment Committee.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Investment Banking (experience in Healthcare, Education, and/or Infrastructure advantageous) and/or Private Equity/Principal Investing.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with ability to independently build, own, and review complex analyses.
- Top tier academic background in finance, economics, engineering, or related discipline.
