Senior AS400 Application Support Engineer

Strong experience supporting and maintaining IBM i (AS400) applications in enterprise environments.

Hands-on experience with RPGLE, RPG, SYNON, COBOL, CLP, and SQL development and support.

Experience troubleshooting production incidents, batch processing failures, and application performance issues.

Experience supporting application integrations, data validation, and production support processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating with geographically distributed teams.

Experience supporting retail, merchandising, or supply chain applications.

Exposure to enterprise application modernization and transformation initiatives.

Experience mentoring junior developers or support engineers.

Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and data migration processes.

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Experience working within global delivery and onshore-offshore models.
