Senior Architect

Mission

Design Delivery

• Lead architectural teams through concept, feasibility, detailed design, authority approvals, tender, construction support, and completion.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, IATA and ICAO standards, and UAE authority submission requirements.
• Coordinate BIM deliverables and ensure drawings, specifications, and reports meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Review deliverables at each stage for quality and compliance.
• Manage interfaces, priorities, design risks, reviews, and project decisions.
• Lead design reviews, coordination workshops, approval meetings, and high-level client presentations.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality oversight to architects and BIM team members.
• Use AI-enabled workflows responsibly for design options, analysis, visualization, coordination, quality checks, and presentation preparation.

Coordination and Documentation

• Maintain systematic documentation for traceability and audit purposes.
• Coordinate internally across disciplines and externally with stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and aviation regulators.
• Close out design, coordination, and authority comments within agreed deadlines.
• Support scope definition, programme planning, resource forecasting, fee control, change management, and technical risk management.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant post-graduate architectural experience.
• Substantial record of leading multidisciplinary design delivery on large-scale and complex projects.
• Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, or equivalent degree.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain relevant professional registration or licensing where required.
• Aviation sector experience is an advantage.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of statutory authority requirements and UAE codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of IATA Airport Development Reference Manual and ICAO Annexes.
• Understanding of fire and life safety, accessibility, and sustainable design principles.
• Strong understanding of design leadership, constructability, specifications, material selection, value engineering, and authority approvals.
• Ability to translate client strategy and operational requirements into design briefs, decisions, and executive presentations.

Software and Digital Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit BIM.
• Knowledge of 3D rendering and visualization tools such as Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, and Unreal Engine.
• Experience with parametric and computational design tools such as Grasshopper, Rhino, and Dynamo is preferred.
• Ability to work in an AI-enabled architectural environment is preferred.
• Ability to prepare high-level client presentations using visualization, layout, and presentation software.
• Ability to use BIM 360, Navisworks, Asite, or Primavera Cloud.
• Awareness of digital twin platforms and asset management system integration.
