Senior AR Associate

Role and responsibilities

• Perform pre-call analysis and check payer status through calls, IVR, or web portals.
• Document claim activity in client software and maintain a clear audit trail.
• Record after-call actions and perform post-call analysis for claim follow-up.
• Resolve customer enquiries, requests, and complaints at the first point of contact.
• Provide accurate product and service information to customers.
• Review authorizations, nursing notes, medical documentation, and explanations of benefits before calls.
• Analyze accounts receivable data, underpayments, days in accounts receivable, and denial reasons.
• Use appropriate codes to document denial and underpayment reasons.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in denial management is preferred.
• A background handling insurance calls is preferred.
• The ability to analyze and address denial issues is preferred.
• Minimum qualification is HSC.
• Excellent communication skills are preferred.
