Job Title: Senior Applied AI Scientist (1 Position)

We are seeking a highly skilled and research-driven Senior Applied AI Scientist to join our team and develop advanced AI solutions that create measurable business impact.

The successful candidate will lead applied research, model development, experimentation, and deployment for real-world use cases across predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and production AI systems.

This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving ability, and close collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams to turn complex AI capabilities into reliable, scalable solutions.

Lead applied research and model development for AI solutions across business and product use cases.

Identify, evaluate, and implement machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI approaches suited to business needs.

Design and run experiments, validate hypotheses, and benchmark models using rigorous evaluation methods.

Develop AI prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-ready solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.

Produce technical documentation, model summaries, experiment reports, and recommendation materials that communicate findings clearly.

Develop project timelines, research plans, and coordinate implementation with technical teams and stakeholders.

Manage project priorities, research milestones, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure timely delivery.

Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and operations teams to ensure technical accuracy and practical deployment of AI solutions.

Support experimentation, optimization, and monitoring of deployed models to improve reliability, performance, and business value.

Monitor AI outcomes, research impact, and user feedback; refine approaches to improve effectiveness and adoption.

Minimum BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; PhD or equivalent research experience preferred.

At least 5-8 years of applied AI or machine learning experience, preferably in industry or product-focused environments.

Demonstrable experience developing and deploying AI/ML models in production or production-like settings.

Strong research, coding, and analytical skills, with the ability to produce clear and effective technical outputs.

Project management experience: timelines, milestones, stakeholder coordination, and delivery tracking.

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building cross-functional collaborations between technical and business teams.

Experience presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and supporting decision-making.

Commitment to robust evaluation, reproducibility, and ethical AI practices.

Portfolio or track record of AI projects, publications, prototypes, or case studies (links or PDF).

Fluency in English; additional languages an asset.
