Role Overview
Provide specialized IT technical expertise to support major business functions and maintain the applications support environment.
Complete complex, non-routine technical and professional work while meeting operational and project KPIs.
Applications Support
- Investigate operational issues, problems, and support requests with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Analyze root causes and identify available resolution options.
- Resolve requests through system modifications, workarounds, data manipulation, reconfiguration, procedure changes, user training, documentation, or escalation.
- Monitor request progress, keep users and stakeholders informed, and minimize delays.
- Perform moderately complex software modifications independently or collaborate on larger changes.
Application and System Design
Specify user interfaces, including inputs, reports, validation, error correction, processing rules, access, security, audit controls, recovery routines, and contingency procedures.
Configure, install, and reconfigure business applications, database management systems, and related tools and technologies.
